Jack Brinson found Brinson & Sons heating and air conditioning in 1974. Jack dedicated himself to providing top quality, reliable heating and air conditioning solutions with great personal service. His reputation for providing fast, dependable services spread quickly through southeastern North Carolina. As the company grew, so did his family – resulting in the "& Sons" part of the company. In fact, three of Jack’s sons have continued the family tradition started by their father.

Eddie Brinson joined the company in 1981 and currently manages the Residential and Commercial Service Division. Greg Brinson came on board in 1986 and specializes in New Residential and Commercial projects. Tim Brinson came to work with his family in 1991 and concentrates on Multi-Family Units and Residential Replacements. The company moved to its current operations center on Kitty Hawk Drive in Wilmington in 2009.

Brinson & Sons found that their competitive advantage as the largest sheet metal fabricator for heating and air applications in southeastern North Carolina gave them opportunity to expand their services beyond the greater Wilmington market. Brinson & Sons have been contracted on major residential and commercial projects throughout the mid-Atlantic region, including Charlotte, Raleigh, New Bern, Fayetteville, and Myrtle Beach. Today, Brinson & Sons employ a team of 20 professionals dedicated to Jack’s vision of quality and personal service at the best possible price.
